The mGroupware 6.0 is an add-on application* providing total Microsoft Exchange substitute solution. The mGroupware 6.0 offers 100% Microsoft Outlook compatible collaboration environment for emails, contacts, calendaring as well as mobile phone integration.
Communications & Collaboration The mBox mail system together with mBox mGroupware 6.0 option provide a total state-of-the-art MS Exchange replacement solution, which allows you to share e-mails, calendar and contacts via Outlook or Webmail access and take all of these in your pocket! Mobile Phone Integration The mBox mGroupware 6.0 offers robust mobile phone integration over 3G and WiFi networks. Put all your contacts, emails, appointments in your pocket and wherever you go. Works seamlessly with all mobile phones and PDAs that support ActiveSynch including BlackBerry, iPhone and many more. Outlook "Look & Feel" Webmail Access The Webmail access feature has the same familiar Outlook "look & feel" experience so users can always feel "at home" with exceptional performance. Using any Internet browser such as Internet Explorer, Chrome or FireFox, users can access all their e-mails, calendars, contacts and tasks whenever they want. Microsoft Active Directory With Active Directory support, the email system can be easily integrated in any existing Windows network without the need to migrate user accounts Multi-Site Support (Enterprise Edition Only) With the Enterprise edition, a multi-server setup is possible where all users can be distributed on multiple mBox systems located across the data-centre, the country or the World. *The mGroupware 6.0 is an optional add-on application sold separately by Msona to provide additional groupware and collaboration facilities on top of the basic email server framework embedded in the mBox as standard. If not ordered, the mBox still offers robust, feature-rich and comprehensive email server functionally which is 100% compatible with Microsoft Outlook email client using POP(s) and IMAP(s) protocols.
Users access their private emails from anywhere and can share their mailbox with colleagues via an advanced permissions system. Group mailboxes such as "Sales" or "Support" and Public Folders can be used for all incoming email message and shared as required. An automated email management wizard helps organise the email system.
Contacts All users and groups are available in a Global Address Book. Of course users can manage personal contacts and distribution lists, but also centrally maintained contact folders are available as well. Calendar Provides seamless sharing of calendars, planning of meetings with colleagues with Free/Busy information. Equally sending meeting requests or booking resources is as easy as few clicks. In addition, users can use any of these features via their Microsoft Outlook client or the mBox Webmail access. Tasks Users can keep personal task lists or share them with colleagues to work much more effectively and efficiently.
